About the Art

What happens if you take the defining facet of an object’s intrinsic visual composition and reconstruct it completely out of that familiar context?

By removing ordinary things from the framework that makes them ordinary, I invite you to look again at what you think you see.

What do you SEE? What are you LOOKING at? State the obvious.
Forget fruitlessly asking pointless questions like “what does it MEAN?” or “what might it REPRESENT?” and simply see what you are looking at.

Are you seeing what is there – or what you think is there?
